The piano is an exquisite musical instrument that may be a bit intimidating to learn but is worth every sweat, time and money you’ll spend. If you want to teach yourself to play piano easily and fast, start now. The earlier you begin, the better you’ll be and the earlier you’ll be able to play a favorite piece. Here’s how you can start:
r
rDecide on your piano playing.
r
rIf you want to teach yourself to play piano easily, you need to decide what kind of piano player you want to be. If you want to be a concert pianist playing Mozart or Tchaikovsky, you will have to learn how to read notes and somewhere down the line, probably take formal lessons, if only for the technique. But if you only want to learn the piano so you can accompany a singer or compose your own song, you can start with chords, which is arguably the easier way to start playing.
r
rThere are also different styles of piano playing you might want to concentrate on – classical, jazz, blues, new age, etc. You can learn one or several of these styles in the future once you’re familiar with the instrument itself.
r
rHave access to a piano.
r
rTo teach yourself to play piano easily you need access to a piano. A piano is a bit expensive, but you don’t have to buy one to be able to teach yourself to play piano easily. There are many sources you can tap for free – local clubs, schools, churches, even friends and neighbors who might be willing to let you use their piano.
r
rIf you’re a little shy and want to practice at home, get a portable electronic keyboard to learn to play piano easily. There are some very inexpensive ones that work as well as a Korg or a Roland. These keyboards even allow you to plug a headphone so no one else hears your playing. Just buy one with full-sized keys because the really cheap ones can have smaller-sized keys. If your fingers get used to smaller keys, you might have some trouble adjusting if you begin playing a full-sized piano in the future.
rGet your lesson.
r
rA piano lesson is never far away. There are numerous books, CDs and online lessons you can tap to help you to teach yourself to play piano easily. There are some videos and audio instructional sources you can use.
r
rYou can get free or paid lessons easily and can even access some of the most popular music to learn. Because we all learn differently, it’s important that you find the lesson that you feel most comfortable with to teach yourself to play piano easily.
r
rHave a back up.
rThere are times when you might get stumped on a lesson simply because you don’t get it or are not using the right technique. If this happens, find a different resource you can use for reference to teach yourself to play piano easily such as a different website, book or video or just simply ask someone if you’re playing the piano correctly.
r
rPractice.
r
rNobody learned to play the piano practicing only when they felt like it. Even the virtuosos played the piano as often as they can. Playing this instrument requires teaching your hand and mind to remember motions and learn to associate notes with the black and white keys on the piano. Practice for at least half an hour everyday or about 4 to 5 days a week is one way to teach yourself to play piano easily.
r
rLearning to play the piano doesn’t mean you have to be born with talent nor do you have to be as young as your niece or grandchild. Anyone who has normal mental and physical abilities can teach himself to learn to play piano easily and succeed. Piano playing is as much a learned skill as it is a talent. If you can teach yourself the skill, you’re halfway there.

In an age appropriate way, children should be told about the reality of sexual abuse and the need for them to be alert to the presence of child molesters. When children are prepared beforehand with necessary information, they tend to rise to the occasion when challenged.
A child can be empowered to protect him or herself in the following ways:
Explain to your child the danger of sexual abuse and the need to call for help when he or she is threatened.
Certain parts of the body are private and should not be touched by others. Whenever a person touches you in such an area, report to your parents.
It is wrong to withhold information from your parents. There is no information that should be kept secret from your parents. When someone tells you not to tell your parents about any incident, let it be a reason for you to tell your parents about the matter.
When you feel uncomfortable in the company of an adult because he hugs, kisses or caresses you too often, keep away from that adult or older child. It is okay to say no to unwanted hugs.
When you feel at risk of being molested, you should call for help
Teach your child to value privacy and personal space.
Teach your child that it is wrong for someone to give him or her a gift and then ask for a favour thereafter.
Teach your child that respect does not mean blind obedience to adults and to authority. For example don’t tell children to “Always do everything the teacher or baby-sitter tells you to do”. It may inhibit them from reacting appropriately to a dangerous situation.
Teach your child what proper clothing is all about and what constitutes indecent exposure of private parts of the human body.
Tell your child not to chat with strangers on telephone or on the internet. They should not give out personal details, addresses or pictures to strangers. They should keep their parents in the know if an adult shows unusual interest in them.

Is your dog always jumping on people and getting them dirty or getting you dirty before work? Dog do not have this problem it is the owners that have this problem. In some cases it can get really old when your dog jumps on you and gets muddy footprints on you clothes or scratches you till you bleed. Many people with dogs like it when their dog jumps around, not me. When a puppy is little all it knows is to jump up and down.
So as people, we love puppy’s, is is a natural thing to get on a knee and pet it and play with it, so as a puppy they think it is OK to jump. So as a puppy, they learn that jumping is OK because it will get some attention. Your dog does not understand anything unless you teach him. Jumping as a puppy is the same as jumping as a huge hairy adult. A dog will say hi and jump, jump, jump to them it is saying hi. It does not matter how old they are, they just want to say hi. But you can teach them. What you need to do as a owner and someone who loves your dog teach him not to jump and that it is not an option to do it. “So when is it OK for my dog to jump”? Well it is up to you if you do not mind it then do not teach it. But if you do not want your dog to end up in a pound because someone said he attack a little kid then maybe you will teach him, it will save a lot of pain.
Some of you have smaller dog and this is not a problem. We all know that a little dog it not going to knock someone down like a big dog will. But when a bigger dog starts to jump they will knock someone down and most of the time, if it is a loving dog, then it will be kids who want to play. The best thing to do is to teach your dog some commands on how to act when people are around or when people start to walk up to him. When you own a large dog it is a must have to teach them the command for not jumping. Most big dogs are taller than people when they are on the back of the legs. So imagine how a little kids feels, they are probably scared out of their mind and don’t know what to do. At the very least a big dog will put hole in everything you own if they jump on you all the time. And your cleaning bill will be outrageous.
So if you have a problem with your dog always jumping and scratching people when they walk up. Maybe they just want to play and get some attention, and that is fine, but there still need to be a lesson there. Most of us have kids and we teach are kids manners, well what is wrong with giving are dogs some commands on not jumping on people. If you need some help then let me give you all the right commands for your dog.

Want to teach your dog but need a simple step by step guide on how best to do it? Follow these great step by step exercises to teach your dog how you would like him to behave. It is important to follow this sequence to achieve the best results for both you and your dog.
1. Be certain of what it is that you want to teach.
2. Begin in a relatively quiet environment, free from distractions.
3. Show your dog a piece of really interesting food.
4. Use this as a lure to show your dog what you want. Be patient and avoid pulling or pushing him around. Instead, find ways to encourage him to do it himself.
5. Immediately your dog does as you want, reward him with the food and a fuss.
6. At this stage, do not give your dog any words of command.
7. Repeat several times, until your dog is performing the action reliably, then begin to say your word as the dog is doing the action.
8. Show the dog the treat and say your word. Lure him if necessary. Reward him.
9. Progress so that you can say the word and the dog will repeat the action without needing to follow your hand.
10. Start varying the rewards. Use a different or less interesting reward sometimes, or have the treat in your hand but only give him a fuss and praise as reward. At other times, do not have the treat in your hand, but suddenly produce one from the other hand as soon as he does what you ask.
11. Rewards should now come on a random basis. Gradually vary and decrease the rewards given. This means that your dog does not know when he will be rewarded, or with what type of reward — he needs to do as you ask to find out what he will get.
12. Repeat this sequence in different places, with an increasing number of distractions, for example in different rooms in the house, in the garden, on a lead on the pavement, in a field with no one around. Progress to a field with other dogs and people around, and your house when visitors are there.
Using words
Dogs do not understand English and will only understand what we teach them. Therefore, the accuracy of your dog’s response will depend on how effectively you teach him. We need to make life as easy as possible for him. He is now learning our language.
One word must equal one action. We know that one word can have a variety of meanings, but how can our dog understand this? What does ‘down’ mean? Lie down, get down, come down, sit down? You decide for your dog. Everyone in the family must be consistent and use the same words. It is no good if one person says ‘down’ to mean lie down and someone else says ‘down’ to mean don’t jump up.
Take a blank piece of paper — this will be your dog’s dictionary. Write down each word you teach your dog, along with the meaning, and pin it somewhere obvious, where everyone will be reminded by it. Add to the list as you progress and teach more words.

Teach Yourself Spanish – Do It Today!
If you’re looking to teach yourself Spanish, you’ve come to the right spot, in fact, you’re halfway there. The internet is hands down the best place to get started teaching yourself the Spanish language and getting accustomed (or refreshing your memory) with the beautiful language. Where you should go all depends on how advanced you are or what your goals are, so keep this in mind as you consider your options to teach yourself Spanish.
Online there are many free and paid resources that will give you help. Personally, the way I learned Spanish was using an online course that was purchased and downloaded to my home computer. I was able to learn near-fluent Spanish in 8 weeks. In fact, I probably could have been entirely fluent in less than 8 weeks if I had really focused harder. I didn’t just start with a paid course though, I used a lot of online resources.
There are places online where you can go and get information (albeit usually pretty basic) about how to form sentences, conjugate verbs and so forth. These sites are great but they lack some important features like:
- No visual aids most of the time that let you associate pictures/visuals with words/phrases/ideas
- No graduation of levels. In other words, you don’t go from one basic form of Spanish to advanced gradually and easily
- No help. The site is there and it offers you whatever it has–any one-on-one help you have to find in a class room or some where else
The free online resources were great for helping me get an idea of how the Spanish language worked, but using the paid course I bought and downloaded (in just a matter of minutes) was easily the fastest and most effective way I was able to teach myself Spanish.
