Future is bright if right direction is taken at the right time. Teaching is re-emerging as an important and increasingly popular career option because of the stability that it offers in these troubled times. Whatever your circumstances, if you are still at school, about to graduate or finishing higher degree in any stream or looking for change of direction, there are newer and more ways to enter the profession than ever before. Teaching is deemed as a noble career. Teaching is a career only for those, who do not hold money in high regard and have passion for knowledge. Genuine interest in the profession is the most important virtue that one must possess. For teachers, learning and teaching are a complementary process. Bright students can choose even professional disciplines like management, engineering, medicine etc. Demand for quality teachers is always high.
No profession is free of challenges. Teachers have to face several hurdles in their careers. The teaching refers to a specific cluster of activities which includes such acts as explaining, demonstrating, questioning and motivating. The process of teaching-learning is as old as human beings on earth. It has been from informal learning to formal learning with the passage of time. The learning is the permanent change in learner’s behavior with the help of effective teaching. True learning is change in personality which if not practiced or reinforced extinct.
The teaching as conventionally understood by traditional people is the act of dissemination of information to the learners in the class rooms. A number of researches have evidenced that teaching is to make the learner realize his/her potential at the fullest. Traditional methods and techniques have been replaced by new methods of teaching and Innovative teaching-learning techniques. Gone are the days when teaching was understood as imparting mere information and when a learner was underrated or underestimated to learn.
Every learner has almost an average I.Q. He/ she can acquire utmost knowledge with self-efforts directed by the teacher. Teaching is to motivate the learners to acquire information, knowledge and skills with self efforts. The teaching must stress self-learning with teacher’s guidance rather than providing instruction to the learner at every step. Role of the teaching is to enable the learner to become self-dependent to explore opportunities. An ideal teacher helps the learner to tremendously use self-senses in order to experience different real life situations.
The process of teaching was carried out by early human beings and even by animals to teach their young ones for successful adjustment in the environment. The process has undergone several changes from informal to formal. Today, the need is to rouse dormant potentialities of learners. Today, the learning can be made efficient and effective with the advent of technological media. Efficiency as a term involves relationship between inputs and outputs in a production process — the underlying notion is that- production is efficient if given inputs produce maximum output. Efficient teaching is that which reduces wastage of learning material — learners (animate human resources- students) and inanimate teaching – learning aids.
Maximum utilization of resources can curtail the wastage. The wastage of resources is in high rate of dropouts, failures and truants of students–learners & the misuse and the unused of teaching- learning aids, The use and misuse of teaching- learning aids are due to lack of knowledge to operate at the part of teacher. How can teaching – learning be made interesting and attractive? Interaction between teacher and student should be intensive and more frequent. It is possible as ratio between student and teacher is less. And highly motivated teachers may make the teaching –learning interested and attractive. High incentives and on the job training can make teachers more motivated and committed. Mobilization of students is a must by motivational techniques.
Utilization of electronically gadgets, as teaching aids as computer, projector and other simulation demonstrative aids can be helpful in efficient teaching- learning. Traditional teaching- learning methods should be taken off. Balanced participation between teacher and student should involve healthy discussion through active interaction.
Moreover teaching is the stimulation, guidance, direction, facilitation and encouragement for learning. It is an art and a teacher is an artist. An artist is governed by certain principles which help him acquire proficiency in his profession, so a teacher is also governed by certain principles which help him acquire proficiency in teaching. The teacher must understand the developmental characteristics of learners at different stages so that he/ she take advanta

Whether you are starting as a complete noob or as an existing guitar player needing to enhance your talents, the options available to you to get some guitar teaching have never been so sundry or as simply obtainable as they are now.
The almost universal access to the internet hasn’t only produced a multitude of websites set up to present their owners as expert guitar teachers on line but has provided a platform from which pro guitar instructors can espouse their services to a bigger audience for personal guitar teaching in their own home at a selected geographic location.
There have always been a lot books about guitar teaching but these are now to a great extent being superseded by the explosion in the numbers of e-books and downloadable and web based guitar teaching courses on the market. For many folks the dollar value of the teaching will in the final analysis choose which form of delivery that guitar teaching takes rather than perhaps which style of teaching might be considered to be the most acceptable for them.
A professional guitar instructor teaching on an one to one basis will certainly supply the final guitar teaching environment for the new or improving guitar player. For those fortunate enough to find such a teacher locally who they can get to at a time to suite themselves and can then afford to take in the continuing price of the lessons, then this is certainly the best form of guitar teaching you can have.
If you’re feeling that the price of this option is prohibitive or perhaps you are not able to identify such a teacher, what then?
It’s not easy to develop very far with your guitar learning if all you have got to guide you and encourage you is a book. To keep on progressing and indeed continue pleasure in the lessons without some type of further stimulus would be terribly tough.
So if you’re not going to enjoy the guitar learning experience afforded by an individual guitar instructor but you know that to achieve success in your ambition to learn and master your guitar will demand something beyond merely a book or a video where do you go?
You could buy into a high quality multimedia and professionally produced course of guitar learning. One that places you in control as to when, where and what kind of time you can commit to it but which in the end delivers the success that your work merit.
Clearly the hard part is to find a course of guitar learning that actually delivers what it asserts on the box. To be sure that the course you invest in is going to come up to your expectancy it makes sense to search out one with a proven track record of success. A system that may demonstrate with genuine testimonials that it delivers its guarantee, that is complete in its depth and is well known in the industry. One that so believes in the success of its students that it offers a total no quibble, no question refund guarantee on its product.
If this course does not bring you and motivate you to your success with your guitar then dare I say, try playing the drums!
Find out the easy way to learn guitar now.

Teacher job interviews are not the same as your typical job interview. Although they follow the same guidelines, the usual questions that would be admissible during a normal interview are not the same during a teaching job interview. Here are 6 pitfalls to avoid if you want to have the best chances of landing your teaching job.
Asking how much will you get paid.
Under normal job circumstances, this is a very viable question, however, during a teacher interview, there’s nothing worse than asking this upfront. If you are offered the job, then you will get to discuss your salary, which is usually predetermined by how many years you have been teaching, and how many years of education you have.
Saying to you have a hard time making kids behave.
This is almost tantamount to telling the principle to expect many children from whom you are teaching to be sent to the principle’s office. Principles are usually looking for low-maintenance teachers which know how to properly discipline a child. Make sure they know that you can properly discipline a child.
NEVER emphasize your weakness or say “I don’t know.”
You have to come off as a confident and qualified teacher. Not having an answer to a question makes you look like you are unsure of yourself, and as a teacher, you should be ready to answer any question that may get thrown your way. Always make sure you come off as positive and leave a positive indelible impression on the panel.
Have an “acceptable” appearance.
This should go without saying, but if you have any tattoos, cover them up; if you have a hairstyle that expresses yourself, but looks a little funky, change it. You should have a clean-cut appearance and very well-mannered to make sure you come off as a person who would have a great influence on a child. Make sure you look professional in your appearance.
Tell them that you would like to work there because of the location.
Never give them the notion that you only want to work here because it is close to home or it will reduce your overall commute time. You need to let them know that you are interested in the school because you like the people whom work and the overall work environment, but never give them the notion or let them know that you are only interested in working there because it’s “convenient” to you.
Never let them know or more so, show them your frustration on your endless job search.
We all know that it can be a strenuous and otherwise very frustrating going on interview after interview, but you do not want to let the panel know that you have been on numerous teaching job interviews or show your frustration in doing so. This may make you seem desperate and make them wonder why everyone else has turned you down thus far.
It’s important that you have a thorough plan of action when going into a teaching job interview. While there are more things you should know about teaching job interviews, there are also much more things you should be cognizant of.
You need to know how to properly format resumes, construct thank you, cover and follow-up letters. You also need to know exactly what to expect throughout each of the interviews you will be put through.

There are different institutions which offer teaching jobs. The industry can be devivded into three different segments. Maybe the biggest and most diverse employer are christian colleges and universitiesand universities, either State or Private Institutions.
To apply for a teaching job at a university or a college, prospective teacher need to have at least a College degree and in many cases a teaching certificate. Most christian colleges and universitiesand universities have job listings on their websites. These kind of institutions offer either contract positions or tenure positions. Tenure positions require high qualifications and are most of the time not available to unexperienced teaching personel.
Beginners are offered positions mostly for 1 year, if the candidate is qualified a possible tenure position can be offered but these positions are very rare.
Another sector for teaching jobs is the private sector, either private schools for adult eduction or for example language schools. As these institutions in the most cases are not issuing official diplomas, many schools can accept teachers without degrees or teaching certificates. Especially language schools are quite flexible when it comes to qualifications and experience of teachers. If the teacher is a native speaker of an exotic language which is popular to learn, it can very easy to get a position even without proper qualification. Of course a prospective teacher should always be prepared for his teaching job, as the work will be much easier and interesting if one is prepared.
A third possiblity is to work for a charity organisation. These kind of institutions offer learners of low income families a possiblity to gain knowledge and develop personally. Many organisation offer after school programs to Inner City Kids or teach adults which had no formal schooling. Some of these organizations operate in third world countries in Africa, South America or Asia. Most charity organization do not pay their teacher but offer free housing if they are situated overseas or a small compensation for gas and food. A decision to take a teaching job in a charity organisation can be very rewarding and be an interesting experience. Most teachers in charity organizations are typically college and university graduates who want to give something back to society.
Working as a teacher, paid or unpaid, is not only a job, but always comes with responsibility, as the learners depend on the quality and knowledge of the teacher. It can also be a very rewarding career.
There are several Job boards and Jobsites available on the internet that specialise in teaching jobs.

Teaching is a profession unlike any other. It is a way of life, a passion and a calling. Teachers do not just teach in a classroom, they are teachers everywhere. Every child is a student and every opportunity is a teachable moment. Unlock the Five Secrets to a Successful Teaching Career below and prepare for a rewarding experience.
Be Resourceful
Teaching requires a great deal of thinking outside the box. Being resourceful means that a teacher is constantly searching to find new ways of teaching students and supplying her classroom with the materials she needs. A resourceful teacher is not afraid to try innovative lessons to reach her students and make learning fun. By being resourceful a teacher keeps her classroom well stocked and her students engaged which are two key components to a long, happy career.
Be Adaptable
Sometimes the hardest, but most effective thing a teacher can do is to be adaptable. It requires a great deal of self-confidence to change direction of a lesson or project mid-stream. When a teacher takes her own plans out of the equation and really looks at what is best for her students, she is adapting to the most important component of her job – the children. Adapting lessons for whatever reason, whether it is for a student with a disability, a slow learner or an ESL student, takes more work than not adapting them. However, success in teaching is not measured by a paycheck, but by the amount of learning that takes place. Being adaptable will make any teacher a better educator with students who will be the richer for her efforts.
Find Balance
It is easy to slip into 24-hour/7-day-a-week teacher mode. Lesson plans always need to be done, papers to grade will always be piled high and forms will always need to be completed. If allowed, teaching can take over an educator’s life. It is critical to a long-term successful teaching career, that balance between work and life is found. Set designated time to complete the paperwork that needs to be finished and when that time is over stop working! Reading a frivolous book, listening to music or going for a walk will help keep life balanced. If a teacher is unable to find balance, her career will be short-lived.
Continue Learning
Most states require a teacher to continue her education beyond a bachelor’s degree. While it may be an essential part of maintaining a teaching license, it is also a great way to stay fresh and current with new teaching methods and ideas. Teaching is not a stagnant profession. Even though many approaches and practices are traditionally based, there are always new things to learn. The cost of continuing education is always a factor, so be resourceful and seek out community colleges and other places that provide continuing education credits for teachers.
Have Fun
One of the best parts about working with children is that it is fun. Laughter and smiles are a daily part of any teacher’s routine. Students love seeing their teacher in a funny wig or with a bright scarf wrapped around her neck. Enjoy teaching! Do not be afraid to be colorful both in dress and personality. The more fun had, the longer and more successful a teaching career will be.
Teaching is a calling. Enjoy the fact that it is one that is available and attainable. Embrace the challenges and the rewards with equal fervor knowing that a child’s life will be forever changed. Use the Five Secrets to a Successful Teaching Career to guide the journey and encourage along the way.
